Currently recording some new songs to release this year, 2026!  Very Excited!!

Coming SOON... song of the week!

"FALL'S Lullaby"

I wrote this for my band Catbird Seat around 1992.  This was originally an acrostic poem that I wrote about my favorite season of the year FALL.  It was originally sung by men...but, Emily Saliers and my wife (Mary Kate) put a beautiful touch to this short lullaby...  Shawn Mullins performed magically on our out-of-tune piano  with some beautiful fills throughout...

 "Liberate your spirit again".

VIDEO KILLED the RADIO STAR

(Unfinished DEMO MIX- recorded at Nightsound Studios [nightsound.com] Glenn Schwartz engineer) No syntesizers, just acoustic guitar on my rendition.

This was the first song that was ever played on MTV (August 1,1981) from the Buggles classic album The Plastic Age.  "In my mind and in my car; we can't rewind, we've gone too far...pictures came and broke your heart.  Put the blame on VCR."

I play all of the songs from the NewLeaf CD in my solo shows except Dirty Black Plate and Something

"WE RUN"

I wrote this song hoping to help myself and others understand their way.

"RIGHT DOWN TO MY TOES"

I wrote this song to get some blues out and to play harmonica, along with my favorite harmonica player in Atlanta (Sandy Garfinkle)

"WISHING YOU WERE"

one of my first overtly political songs..

Simply taken I'm formally breaking away, now that I can see.....  Simply taken, the forms that we're made to comply... and wishing you were.

"ANOTHER DAY"

I wrote this on the World's Fair Site in Knoxville...
